Başak is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Second Language Acquisition Program. She received her MA in Applied Linguistics at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul. She is mainly interested in the comparative research of morphosyntactic processing across native and nonnative (advanced) speakers of Turkish. She is currently an active Language Science fellow, holding a Neuroscience certificate.
