Help advance language science at Maryland this Giving Day.

This Giving Day, your gift will help support student-led research at the Language Science Station at Planet Word, an interactive language museum in Washington, DC. Through our Language at the Museum summer course, undergraduate and graduate students gain hands-on research experience in a unique environment, improve their science communication skills, and invite Planet Word visitors to contribute to language science through fun, socially relevant studies.

The Language Science Station is a partnership with the University of Maryland, Gallaudet University, and Howard University. Students from different backgrounds and colleges bring new perspectives to research. The Language Science Station also promotes inclusivity by involving visitors of various backgrounds, ages, and native languages. While gaining valuable research and communication experience, students educate visitors and spark curiosity in language science.
