Never Too Late: How to Apply to Industry Jobs Today
The Department of African-American and Africana Studies (AAAS) Section Z (Linguistics and Language Sciences) is offering a special online session for language scientists who are interested in preparing for industry jobs. The session will be led by Cindy Blanco, a linguistics PhD and Deputy Editor of Learning Content at Duolingo.

About AAAS:
This is a free event open to all, but AAAS encourage students to consider becoming an AAAS member ($25 student membership!). AAAS is the world’s largest scientific society, advocating for all areas of science. Section Z, the section of AAAS that serves linguists and language scientists, is the field’s way of getting a seat at the larger science table. AAAS is able to advocate on behalf of science in the US in ways that individual disciplinary groups cannot.
