Linda Coleman’s interests are in the linguistic analysis of discourse, with special focus on the language of politics and the linguistic construction of humor. Additional interests include rhetoric, writing pedagogy, and the teaching of grammar. She served as the Director of Academic Writing from 1994-2005. She is currently studying retellings of the Trojan War story from Homer to the 21st century.
