Join the College of Education's Department of Teaching and Learning, Policy and Leadership (TLPL) for the 2024 Trandisciplinary Approaches to Language & Literacy in Educational Research (TALLER) Graduate Student Conference. This years theme is Multilingualism & Multiliteracies! 

We cordially invite you to participate in the 6th Annual Neurodiversity at Work Research Conference, co-sponsored by The University of Washington, Carnegie Mellon University, and The University of Maryland. The Neurodiversity at Work Research Conference brings together leading scholars, neurodivergent leaders, and leading neurodiversity employers and providers concerned with advancing neurodiversity employment research.

HESP is hosting a Literacy Symposium offering ASHA CEU hours to speech language pathologists (SLPs), audiologists, and other interested participants. 

This event is a lecture-style workshop series with SLP and Literacy professionals, with a focus on the evaluation and intervention of literacy and reading disorders.

BSOS is excited to announce the 2024 College of Behavioral and Social Sciences' (BSOS) Research Showcase at the University of Maryland.

The inaugural ATLAS Day Conference will be held on the UMD campus on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Join us for engaging panel presentations and discussions highlighting UMD faculty-led research related to Africa, the African diaspora, and African-American studies. Dr. Orisanmi Burton, Assistant Professor of Anthropology at American University and author of Tip of the Spear: Black Radicalism, Prison Repression, and the Long Attica Revolt, will be our inaugural Keynote Speaker. 

Join the University of Maryland for its annual showcase and celebration of undergraduate research! Hundreds of UMD undergraduates share posters about their scholarly and creative work at Undergraduate Research Day (URD) each spring.

UMD community members (including family members and friends of UMD students!) are welcome to join us at this year's event; preregistration is not required for attendees.
