Student Spotlight: Oliver Bentham

Oliver is a PULSAR student in his senior year pursuing a double degree in Linguistics and Computer Science. He is interested in Natural Language Processing and the intersection between semantics and langauge technology. Going forward, he hopes o go to graduate school to study NLP and work on making artifical intelligence more capable to handling conversational dialogue. Oliver won the Professional Writing Program 2017 Paper of the Year Contest for a manual he wrote on the phonetics software. In his free time, he enjoys crosswords, playing guitar, and meeting up with friends for a game of soccer.
