  The Maryland Language Science Center's Guatemala Field Station is proud to sponsor  FAMLi 5  (the 5th conference on  orm and  nalysis in  nguistics), which will take place  Aug. 10-11, 2018  in Antigua, Guatemala at  Cooperación Española orm and  nalysis in  nguistics) aims to bring together native speakers of Mayan languages and researchers from around the world to share research on all aspects of Mayan languages including but not limited to phonetics/phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics/pragmatics, typology, historical linguistics, linguistic anthropology, acquisition, and psycholinguistics. FAMLi encourages participation from researchers working in any linguistic framework, and with any level of formal linguistic background, to present description and analysis of Mayan languages.
