The Guatemala field station expects to host research projects in a range of fields beyond, and linking to, language science. We welcome enquiries from language scientists and other researchers who are interested in doing research in conjunction with the field station. Contact Maria Polinsky if you'd like to become involved.
This is also the first of several planned field stations in locations around the world which are of high interest for language science and other fields, and where establishing infrastructure and strong connections to local experts and to the community has the potential to be of particular value to researchers as well as to local populations and environments.
Advancing an integrated science of language, through research and training that links fundamental science with applications in education, technology, and health.
