LSC Outreach Opportunities: What can you get involved in this year?

The Maryland language science community is currently generating national attention for its public impact activities, of which outreach is the prime example. Building on the enthusiasm for outreach that we saw at Language Science Day, we’re looking for your input to shape its trajectory over the coming years. We’ll discuss how our existing activities develop your professional skills and how your involvement positively impacts communities ranging from local high schoolers to policy-makers. We would like your feedback on what your needs are, and what activities we should be expanding to fulfill those needs. Whether you’re a faculty, graduate or undergraduate member of the language science community, we encourage you to attend. Bring your ideas and an appetite for a delicious home-cooked lunch!
