Undergraduate Opportunities
Undergraduates at Maryland can get involved in the language research community from their first days at the university. Aside from the half-dozen or so majors offered at the university that allow a focus on language science, students can take advantage of linguistics and language science courses in a number of departments, including many specializing in foreign language. Additionally, undergraduate research opportunities are available across campus in labs working on many different questions and different methodologies.
