As part of its graduate program, NACS offers a number of graduate courses relevant to the scientific study of language and mind, including courses in Cognitive Neuroscience and Cognitive Science. At noon on most Fridays NACS sponsors a research seminar on a broad range of current, relevant topics of interest to the broader NACS community. One of the focus areas within NACS is devoted to Speech and Language research which includes 22 faculty members from 6 departments. Other allied focus areas include Auditory Neuroscience, Human Development and Foundations of Cognitive Science.
