Graduate Programs
As part of its language sciences initiative, the University of Maryland provides world-class training opportunities for the next generation of language researchers and scientists. With research foci ranging from engineering to philosophy, graduate students with interests in any aspect of human language call the university their home. Moreover, each of the graduate programs available takes advantage of ready and frequent interactions with surrounding areas, and all can receive support from the University's new federal-funded integrative training program (IGERT) on the Biological Foundations of Language Diversity.
